Returns & Refunds
We stand behind every product we make. If Human Improvement isn't right for you, we want to make it right.
60-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First Order)
Try Human Improvement risk-free. If you don't love it, email us at hi@buyhi.co within 60 days of your first order and we'll issue you a full refund for the cost of the product.
- Applies to your first order only
- Valid for orders shipped within the continental US
- Maximum refund value: $70
- Refund covers the cost of the product only — shipping, taxes, and any discounts applied are non-refundable
- One refund per customer / household
- No physical return required for the satisfaction guarantee — keep, share, or discard the product
To request a refund under the satisfaction guarantee, email hi@buyhi.co with your order number and reason for the refund.
Subscriptions
Our subscription program is designed to make it easy to stay consistent with your routine — and just as easy to manage.
How subscriptions work:
- When you choose a subscription at checkout, you'll be clearly notified on the product page, in your cart, and at checkout that you are signing up for a recurring order.
- You'll receive an order confirmation email with a direct link to your subscription portal where you can manage, pause, skip, or cancel at any time.
- We will send you a reminder email 3 days before any upcoming charge so you have time to make changes.
- There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel anytime by logging into your account or emailing hi@buyhi.co.
By signing up for a subscription, you acknowledge your responsibility for managing it and adhering to our cancellation policy. You have full authority to cancel or modify your subscription at any time.
Subscription renewals are not covered by the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee. The satisfaction guarantee applies to first orders only. If you'd like to return a subscription order, please see the Unopened Returns section below.
Unopened Product Returns
If you'd like to return an unopened, unused product in its original packaging:
- Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery by emailing hi@buyhi.co.
- Once your return is authorized, the product must be mailed or shipped within 14 days of the date the return was authorized by Human Improvement.
- If we have not received your return within 30 days of the authorization, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Please note: as a growing company, we do not provide return labels or cover the cost of return shipping.
- Items not purchased at buyhi.co, items without an order number or packing slip, and opened products are not eligible for return.
- Sale items, gift cards, and promotional or bundled free items are final sale and non-refundable.
To initiate an unopened return, email hi@buyhi.co with your order number and proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

If you are shipping a return valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or you received a defective product, email us at hi@buyhi.co within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. If the original payment method is no longer available, the refund will be forfeited.
- Refunds typically process within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- We cannot issue refunds to prepaid debit cards.
- Any store credit, rewards, or promotional discounts applied as payment are non-refundable.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company — it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank — there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
